On August 9, 2011, Revista Capital made its first sustainability seminar, an event that brought about 650 entrepreneurs, executives, academics and political and environmental leaders to discuss the implications of economic sustainability, environmental and social development of Chile and the world.
The summit was attended by important guests, including Erin Brockovich, president of Brockovich Research & Consulting, one of the most important women in the world of sustainability and who was filmed a movie about his struggle to improve health conditions of her people. Also presented Richard Jackson, head of sustainability of the London 2012 Olympic Games, among other major exhibitors.
In addition, the event was certified CO2 SCX Neutral, where all emissions related to the event were measured, verified by an independent third party, and neutralized through the purchase of carbon credits equivalents generated by hydroelectric project Lircay.
