This 2025, Gold Fields is once again participating in the Atacama Regional Development Forum (FOREDE) with an innovative, high-tech and, mainly, carbon neutral stand. This certification has been validated by the Santiago Climate Exchange (SCX – Santiago Climate Exchange), an organization dedicated to the certification and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in Chile.
In line with its vision of sustainability, the company will offset the emissions generated by its participation in FOREDE between October 14 and 16 in the city of Copiapó.
FOREDE, which this year celebrates its ninth version, has established itself as a strategic meeting place for the mining industry, the regional and national ecosystem, as well as the Atacama community. In this edition, with Canada as the guest country, the forum reinforced its role as an ambassador for the region.

About Gold Fields
Gold Fields is a globally diversified gold producer with nine operations in Australia, Chile, Ghana, South Africa and Peru, in addition to the Windfall project in Canada.
