This event seeks to be a space to discuss one of the problems of the 21st century: the food crisis and the resources of our planet. The idea is to open a dialogue between international stakeholders to exchange views on these major challenges that are relevant to all.

The Chilean pavilion, with more than 2,000 m2will simulate an interactive audiovisual tour, where it is expected to bring the public closer to the experiences of the chain of affection of the production of the gastronomic tradition. It will seek to showcase Chile’s diverse side where we will try to make you live the unique experience and move to different scenarios, landscapes and cultures. More than being able to deliver knowledge about the existing diversity of products, traditions and its people, it will take advantage of the opportunity to internalize the public by developing a live, interactive experience through the senses.

For this event, the Chile Pavilion at ExpoMilan, Arauco in conjunction with the Chilean organization, will mitigate the impact through the neutralization of CO2 emissions, these carbon credits will come from the Valdivia Project, this project consists of the generation of electricity from biomass, and is certified under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). It is located in Valdivia, Región de los Ríos, Chile. As part of the process, the result will be verified by an independent third party – in this case Deloitte – and with that result, SCX will proceed to publish and withdraw the carbon credits in the international registry.
