Although they have focused on working to generate strategies and work together with their collaborators, suppliers and the community, in order to integrate them into the emissions reduction framework, they have not forgotten that the greatest effort must be seen in themselves.

This is why Paris decided to neutralize the carbon footprint of its corporate travel for 2014, for the second consecutive year. It stands out for always trying to improve its relationship with the environment.

In 2014, PARIS decided to neutralize its emissions with carbon credits from the BAESA hydroelectric project. Its estimate for 2014 was 1609 tons CO2e, associated with its corporate flights, and at the end of the year, the final result was reconciled, based on its air travel actually performed during the current year. As part of the process, the result was verified by an independent third party – in this case Deloitte – and with that result, SCX proceeded to publish and retire the carbon credits in the international registry, in this case MARKIT.
